The Mail Gator Pedestal locking mailbox is made from durable composite plastic and comes in 6 UV protected appealing colors that look like granite. This Mail Safe was designed by former mail carriers with the most important security issues in mind. The two-piece design is rugged and durable. The Mail Safe mailbox is resistant to high impact from baseball bats and, instead of breaking apart, will instead break-away (mail compartment intact) if struck by a vehicle.
