Benchmade Pardue Design BK1-Coated Presidio Knife Details

The Benchmade 5000 has a 154-CM satin finish BK1-Coated blade. The black anodized, machined 6061 T-6 aluminum handle features milled ribs that add gripability to the already contoured handle. The AXIS lock system makes the knife easier (and faster) to open and close. 420J stainless steel liners and a reversible steel carry-clip which can be reversed for right or left handers. It’s an unbeatable duplicate of the Benchmade automatic Model 5000 Auto AXIS, but in a Manual version! BK1 coating provides excellent corrosion protection, which exceeds the ASTM-117 spec for saltwater while possessing higher scratch resistance.

The Benchmade 580BK Mini-Barrage knife introduces an improved spring-assist opening and locking mechanism for speed and strength in 1 complete package. The AXIS spring-assist opening and locking mechanism has been updated to be stronger than its predecessors; it provides a safety lock in both opened and closed positions. Ambidextrous thumb-stud design allows you to easily open and close the knife with either hand. The ComboEdge, drop-point, stainless-steel blade measures 3.6 in. and has a blade hardness of 58-61HRC. Resin handle is impervious to moisture and provides a strong, comfortable frame that is easy to handle. The Benchmade 580S Barrage knife features a reversible pocket clip that makes storage and transport easy—just clip it on your pocket or belt and go! BK1 coating provides excellent corrosion protection, which exceeds the ASTM-117 spec for saltwater while possessing higher scratch resistance.
